Woods office concept

Implementing the concept while respecting the original

Developing the office concept from a designer’s perspective

Nordic real estate developer and investor NREP first introduced the Woods office concept in Copenhagen in the early 2020s. Today, the concept, offering flexible office and commercial space, has expanded to several locations across the Helsinki metropolitan area, all with excellent transport connections. At the heart of the concept are adaptable, inspiring workplaces that combine flexibility, comfort and a distinct brand identity.

We have partnered with NREP to bring the Woods concept to life across both properties and marketing materials. Our work has focused particularly on creating marketing templates, brochures and tenant fit-outs as well as interior and signage design for the properties.

Our work in this project

  • Marketing templates
  • Signage design
  • Space and interior design
  • Lighting design
  • Graphic design
  • Brochure and copywriting

A holistic design approach

In our design process, we take into account each building’s architectural characteristics and any existing furnishings in the spaces to be fitted out. Thus the premises, communication and visual identity work together and reinforce the Woods brand.
In addition to producing marketing materials, we have supported NREP in planning and defining tenant alterations, from the contract stage through to implementation.

It is a pleasure for us to support the client and bring added value to the marketing of their premises. Close cooperation with the client and our understanding of properties ensures a high-quality end result. Producing marketing layouts and tenant fit-outs carries significant responsibility – we always produce realistic and implementable arrangements, that consider the interests of both the property owner and the prospective tenant. Particular attention must be paid from the outset to accurate floor areas and the practicality of spatial solutions, so that moving towards execution during contract negotiations is as seamless as possible.

Our designers’ task is to balance functionality, aesthetics and user experience so that the premises form a coherent spatial experience. Consistent visual solutions, carefully selected materials and clear wayfinding make Woods locations recognisable and appealing, while well-considered lighting and digital content production extend the atmosphere and narrative that define the concept.
The outcome is a functional and engaging environment that supports tenants’ operations, without forgetting the property owner’s strategic objectives.
